Yoga Therapy

Yoga has proven to be a powerful tool of transformation for many.

Yoga therapy has arisen out of the practice and teaching of yoga, and has many forms today. Some focus primarily of physical conditions, much like a modern physical therapist might, and many now use as part of their practice. There are also forms of yoga therapy that work more with the emotions, and with the sense of Self as inhabiting one’s body.

Eric, a serious yoga practitioner since 1994, has completed teacher trainings by both Ana Forrest, and by Core Power Yoga, each 200 hour trainings. He integrates yoga therapy into somatic therapy sessions as a way to support clients in their exploration of inhabiting and healing their body, their body image, their sense of potency and power, as well as to move through weaknesses and places that tend to collapse. Bringing balance to the body and mind though an experiential understanding of Self.
